King states that blackamoores have been weaken by chains of discrimination (American Rhetoric, 2001)By this educational activity, King intended to make the whites realize that they have broken the promises drafted in the constitution. While using ethos, King uses the example of bad check. This is seen when he states that denying Negroes their civil rights shows that, America has given the Negro people a bad check(American Rhetoric, 2001)            While using logos, King refers to the independence Proclamation that was signed by Lincoln in a move to end slavery.
